New York’s New State Acquires Majority Stake in Irving’s The Expo Group

Founded in 1991, The Expo Group is a well-established provider of a wide range of event services. The company specializes in design, planning, asset procurement, booth rentals, logistics, and full execution, managing over 500 trade shows, live events, and exhibitor projects annually.

The Expo Group, based in Irving, Texas, has now secured a majority investment from New State Capital Partners, a private equity firm located in New Rochelle, New York. The Expo Group offers a comprehensive suite of services to the trade show and live event sectors across North America.

This investment was made in collaboration with the company’s management and existing stakeholders, who reinvested a significant portion of the proceeds. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Backing for Growth and Strategic Expansion

New State made this investment through its Fund III and worked alongside Panos Partners, a Dallas-based independent sponsor led by Bryan Scott, a former events industry executive. This marks the fourth deal in which New State has partnered with an independent sponsor.
